The members-only website is available at members.citypark.coop. It hosts exclusive resources like meeting minutes, Annual General Meeting (AGM) packages, staff roster, and security and bug reports. Signing up for the Members-only website will also enroll you in the Co-op e-newsletter (unless you opt out).
Complete the Member Information Update Form. Each member should fill out out their own form. If you have two members in the household, fill out the form twice.
A staff member from the Co-op Office will contact you by phone to verify your details and add you to the private "City Park Co-op Members" Google Group. Once added, you'll have full access to the website.
Log in to groups.google.com.
If you've been added, you will see the group "City Park Co-op Members"
If the group isn't visible and it's been 7 days since you submitted the form, send an email to front.desk@cpco-op.ca and cc general.manager {at} cpco-op.ca and communications {at} citypark.coop.
To manage how often you receive group emails:
Navigate to the group's settings page
Options include digesting emails to once daily or disabling notifications entirely to read notifications online at your convenience.
The first City Park Co-op newsletter you receive will almost certainly land in your spam/junk folder. To prevent this in the future, please take one of these simple steps: Open the newsletter in your spam/junk folder and drag it to your main Inbox. Doing this 2–3 times teaches your email provider that our messages are legitimate. Or, add these two addresses to your contacts or approved-senders/whitelist: members@citypark.coop, communications {at} citypark.coop.
Once you’ve done either of these, future newsletters should arrive directly in your Inbox without any issues.
To turn off emails
Navigate to the group's settings page and set the Subscription to "No Email"
Please do not leave the members@citypark.coop group because this grants you access to members only section of the website.
You don't have to use a @gmail.com address to receive newsletter or sign into the members only area. You can use any email address and make that your Google login. Here are the steps:
Go to accounts.google.com
"Create account"
Enter your name and birthday info
Click on "Use your existing email" and enter the email address you already have
Continue with the account creation process. By the end of the process, you would've created a google account based on the email address you have
Note that this account has its own password. You can set that password to be different from your email account password.
See below the first two email newsletters sent out:
