Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI), or subsidized housing, is made available by the City of Toronto to make rent affordable for households. In most cases, RGI rent is 30 per cent of a household’s monthly Adjusted Family Net Income (AFNI). The AFNI is determined annually using each household member’s Notice of Assessment (annual income tax return). If you receive social assistance, the rent is based on the rent benefit set by the Ontario government. See the government website.

PACKAGE DELIVERY DATE: DECEMBER 15th TO 19th 2025
RGI PACKAGE DUE DATE: JANUARY 9,2026
NOTICE OF DECISION ISSUED: APRIL 2026
RGI HOUSING CHARGE EFFECTIVE DATE: MAY 1, 2026

We would like to inform you that the 2026/2027 Annual Review packages will be distributed during the week of December 15, 2025. Please be aware that the return date for completed packages on or before January 9, 2026.

Notices of Decision will be issued in April 2026 with an effective date of May 1, 2026.

These changes are to ensure that City Park Cooperative complies with Provincial Legislation and City of Toronto requirements for processing Annual Reviews.
